Cloudy Horizons:

Perseverance Wills Success

“Let go of the thoughts that don’t make you strong.” – Karen Salmansohn

The limits of your professional success are often connected to your level of personal growth. In order to maximize prosperity throughout your life, it is absolutely essential that you work to cultivate a perspective that empowers you. Even if there is physical evidence that runs counter to your desired series of beliefs, it’s often more conducive to your success to deliberately shift your focus elsewhere, to only emphasize that which enfranchises you most. There are limits to this type of thinking and you certainly don’t want to become delusional, but when you believe you are unstoppable you act in kind and begin creating a physical reality in which that belief starts to become objectively, factually more accurate.

“Strength does not come from physical capacity. It comes from an indomitable will.” – Mahatma Gandhi

A large part of how unstoppable you are or can be, even physically, originates from your mind and spirit rather than your body. This is not to say that there are no physical realities which impose limits upon you, because there obviously are, but rather that most of your limitations regarding what you are or can be are in fact self imposed and dictated mainly by your intrinsic beliefs. Often, it is helpful to hone an empowered perspective internally, infrequently articulating your beliefs aloud. Remember that It is not necessary to verbally quantify your perspective for other people, as their views on your strength are irrelevant. To speak allowed the internal thoughts or beliefs that motivate you is to make literal the non-literal, which often necessitates a verbal defense against the beliefs of others or even against your own factual scrutiny. This is typically destructive to your empowerment.

Essentially, it’s not that you’re trying to believe you are literally unstoppable, because factually, you know that is true of no one. Rather, you want to create a series of non-literal, deeply held beliefs that culminate in the knowledge of knowing, deep in your soul, that you are “unstoppable.” Always remember that truth is different from fact. Know it, live it, force your truth to become a factual, literal reality through your actions. You are unstoppable, unshakable and nothing can hold you back.

“Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance, you must keep moving.” – Albert Einstein

To succeed in life requires constant forward momentum, progress in spite of all challenges encountered, resiliency and resolution against any force which seek to impede you. Nelson Mandela once said, “I never lose. I either win or learn.” This is the exact philosophy you must personify to be prosperous in life. The setbacks you are certain to encounter on your journey are not adversities, but rather learning experiences which allow for greater future success. You only fail at something when you give up. Otherwise, you have simply yet to succeed.

“Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.” – Winston Churchill

No matter how many victories you achieve in life, there will always be another mountain to climb. There will always be another obstacle in your path or another issue that manifests, seeking to shake your resolve. Always remember, endless perseverance and an unwavering faith in your ability to triumph are two of the most essential embodiments you must pursue throughout life to maximize your personal and professional success. Never forget these things, for they are the foundation of continued persistence against all odds relating to anything and everything on your journey.
